Live Oak photography sessions are available by appointment only from 9 am - sunset daily for hourly or daily rental. A private, gated property, Live Oak's gates remain locked at all times.

Appointments are required to assist you in selecting the best time for your photography session and to schedule Live Oak personnel to admit you and remain on-site throughout your photography session. Please inquire about scheduling and prices for large groups, workshops, and classes.

In the event of bad weather, you must cancel no later than one day prior to your scheduled appointment. 'No Shows' shall result in forfeiture of paid fee.

Bridal portrait and engagement sessions are complimentary for Live Oak Brides.

On dates that scheduled events do not conflict with local proms, Live Oak will offer a complimentary photography session for local high school students on the respective afternoon of their school's prom. Wedding season overlaps prom season. If there is a wedding scheduled the same day, students may seek the bride's permission.

All students participating in the Live Oak prom photography session must register with their school's office no later than one week prior to the prom.

No dressing area will be provided during prom pictures due to the large number of students.

Live Oak is a photographer's dream. We welcome the use of our picturesque farm's grounds to create beautiful photographs for the special times in your life.

Photography sessions provide access to the Lakeside Terrace, the pecan orchard and field, the rustic cabin & restroom, the Outdoor Cathedral of Oaks Grounds (antique leaded glass windows hang from ancient oak), the Avenue of Oaks, Duck Island, a pier, and Lake Blue Heron.

Photography sessions are outdoor only, and therefore there will be no access to the interior of the main home. A private dressing area is provided in the rustic cabin located near the lake for groups of 1-6. Electricity is provided. No nude photography is permitted.

Location fees for advertisement, commercial productions, motion pictures fashion, & catalog photography are negotiated on an individual basis.

Live Oak can offer a wide arrangement of ancillary services, such as overnight accommodations, storage, parking, and security.

For photography or licensing of Live Oak images or trademarks, please contact Donna Meeks. All filming must be scheduled prior to arrival and is based on availability. All crews must work around our daily tours and our events, but Live Oak Plantation will try to accommodate our film crews, whenever possible.
